WHAT WE OFFER

The Parks and Playgrounds Department offers recreation and facilities for children and adults of all ages.
The Town Common is the center of fun for Lookout Mountain offering a playground, tennis and pickle ball courts, a walking track, a covered pavilion and recreation fields.

MOUNTAIN MAZE PLAYGROUND

The Lookout Mountain Maze Playground  has been a favorite meeting place for children and adults alike for many years. What once was a beloved wooden playground, is now a more modern maze, both of which were designed with adventure in mind. With two distinct age group areas, it offers something exciting for all ages. Supervision Required. Restrooms and picnic tables available. 

TENNIS AND PICKLE BALL COURTS

Our tennis and pickle ball courts are available on a first come, first serve basis. Lights are available for those who would like to play into the evening hours. 

WALKING TRACK

The Walking Track winds through the  Town Common, offering a flat walking surface for people of all ages. 4.2 times around equals a mile. With benches located around the track, the site offers a perfect place for exercise or a leisurely walk with friends. 

NAVARRE PAVILION 

The Navarre Pavilion offers a covered picnic area and restrooms. The Pavilion can be reserved for birthday parties or large group gatherings by contacting Scott Shell at (423) 821-6212. 

RECREATION FIELDS

The fields at the Town Common may be enjoyed by the public when not already in use by the recreation league. For more information about the Recreation League and sports offered, please click  here.
